It was honor to be a part of the judging panel with Roy Mananquil (Vaperazzi), Meriwether Amanda Morris, and Joshua Krane from the CRAFT VAPERY team. The testing was a lot tougher than expected. I didn’t think judging juice would be so difficult, especially when it was a blind taste test and everything was with nicotine. The testing wasn’t so forgiving on us judges and we all felt nic’d out…. but we all pushed through.
Their were 189 entries and 17 categories. When it came to judging, personally, I thought I was the most critical when it came to judging. The rating scale was from a 1-10, and unfortunately, I gave A LOT of 1’s, but I was pretty dam happy with the winners. What I was looking for were new and complex flavors, and not one of the trendy copycat flavors.
The whole experience was an absolute joy and I would like to thank Rocky and The Vape Summit crew for allowing me to partake in this experience and for making it happen. Regarding the winners of the awards, on the last day of the event, Craft Vapery announced the winners of the Best In Show Award.
